There isn't too much better than having Mazda's rotary race cars screaming past you at the track. I would have loved for a rotary only run group so we could hear pure awesomeness.
The beautiful Mazda 787! Loved hearing it actually being pushed to the limits, ripping around the track!
The Le Mans winning Renown 787B in its iconic livery. Unfortunately it wasn't flogged to the limit on the track. Always great seeing it stretching its legs though!
One that rarely sees the light of day, the ARTNATURE RX-7 GTO that ran in the 1994 24 Hours of Le Mans. It was quite impressive to see this one running, and we dig the clean livery on it!
The RX-792P is definitely has the wildest aero package compared to the three other rotary race cars at the Monterey Historics. This awesome rotary race car was built to race in the IMSA GTP category.
We'll end this with the only fireball shot I got- it just so happens to be the ARTNATURE RX-7 GTO!
